The first half of 2023 flew by!! Thank you to our swimming instructors who taught with us in the pool this season and of course a special thank you to all of our participants 🌟👏

We often get this question: Is it too late for me to learn to swim as an adult?

Our answer is always short and sweet: No it is never too late 😊

There are many good reasons for learning to swim, no matter your age!

Swimming is a great physical activity that can help your cardio-vascular health, can rehab old injuries and prevent new ones, and overall help you keep your mind and body healthy.

From beginner to competitive swimmers, the sport can be a place of release, a place of development and improvement, and an activity where one can feel the power of trying something different.

OPEN WATER SWIMMING CAMPS at Brunnsvikens Strandbad are nearly underway 🤗🌊🏖️

Thank you to all who have signed up already for our upcoming swimming courses. We are all buzzing for it! 🐝

If you are looking to join make sure to check out the course descriptions to see which course is right for you. We are offering three courses in the open water this year:

-- Swimming 101 (beginner, learn-to-swim)
--Swimming 102 (intermediate, continuation)
--CRAWL (advanced)

Meet our wonderful swimming instructor Kim! 🌊👏

Kim is an experienced Learn-to-Swim Instructor with a passion for teaching and water. With a lifelong love for swimming, Kim has run her own swim school and taught students of all ages – from 2 to 72 – and up to 250 students a week, for over a decade.

For Kim, learning to swim is about breaking through barriers, testing comfort zones, and boosting morale and self-confidence, and nothing gives her greater joy than sharing the love for this fluid element of nature.

We are happy to have you part of the team!

We are super excited for what 2023 will bring so we have decided to announce new courses for January. Check out the link in our bio to save your spot!

SWIMMING 101- For those that are complete beginners (and/or have a fear of the water) and want to learn basic water skills such as floating, gliding, and breastroke technique.

SWIMMING 102- For those that want to take their swimming to the next level by improving their breastroke, learning the front crawl, and swimming longer distances (25m)
