A greeting letter from board

Dear members of Stockholm Int Swimming Club,

2018 is over now! It is a perfect time to plan activities for 2019 and to let your New Year resolutions to come in true.
I would like to thank you all who were swimming with us in 2018 and welcome our new students who will join us in 2019.
2018 was a year of growth for us! We increased the amount of members by 182% and hope to continue this trend in 2019!
I would like to thank our wonderful coaches and our one and only administrator for their wonderful work that they performed with true passion.

Every year I write a long list of New Year resolutions for myself, and then, almost always have second thoughts. Sometimes it is very hard to make a first step. Then I remember one of my favorite quotes and everything sets into it’s places. It takes courage to make a step out of the comfort zone, but you know you will be rewarded and we, in our turn, in our swimming club will help you with that!

NEW YEAR. MORE POOLS. MORE POSSIBILITIES.

In 2019 we will expand with a crawl for beginners course to Vasalundshallen that is just 10 min to go from Solna Station. It is a 25 meters pool where you can open your potential, improve your techniques and get to new swimming level with our coach Saima. Our principles stay the same: small groups, convenient time,  wonderful coaches and lots of fun! We start 17 th of January and only 1 spot is left! Are you joining us?

Please, if you swam with us in 2018, find a minute to leave a comment at Facebook about us, our coaches will be trilled to get a feedback from you!

We got funding for teaching 50 asylum seekers to swim their first 200 meters. Classes will take place at daytime at Nälstabadet, 15 minutes from Vällingby metro station, through out 2019. Our new coach Qlasse will take care of this course. So if you know anybody who is currently has a status of asylum seeker in Sweden, please, tell them to write for us info@stockholmswimmingclub.se – a free of charge swimming course is waiting for them! Read more about that opportunity here!

Our regular courses breaststroke for beginners and breaststroke continuation will stay in our most favorite, cozy pool in the whole Stockholm – Haga Health Club.  We start 14 th and 16 th January. You can sigh up here!

Best Regards,
member of  SISC board
